“Them” is the third studio album by Danish heavy metal artist King Diamond, released on September 13, 1988, via Roadrunner Records. This concept album introduces the character King’s mentally ill grandmother and the haunted house, “Amon,” setting the stage for its sequel, “Conspiracy.”

The album features King Diamond on vocals and lyrics, with Andy LaRocque and Pete Blakk on lead guitars, Hal Patino on bass, and Mikkey Dee on drums. Roberto Falcao contributes keyboard effects.

Critically acclaimed, “Them” is praised for its raw intensity and complex vocal arrangements, with King Diamond employing up to eighteen vocal tracks to portray different characters. The album’s narrative depth and musical complexity have solidified its status as a classic in the heavy metal genre.

This 2020 reissue by Metal Blade Records presents the album on 180g black vinyl, complete with an insert and a poly-lined inner sleeve, offering both new listeners and longtime fans an enhanced auditory experience.
